2020 Piapot Traditional Powwow – CANCELLED

After weeks of careful consideration and contemplation, we have made the precautionary decision to cancel the Piapot Traditional Powwow set to take place on August 14-16, 2020.

The health and well-being of our friends, families, volunteers, partners and the community we call home is always our highest priority. There are simply too many unknowns at the moment and the impacts of COVID-19 remain a risk for all large-scale community events in 2020.

On behalf of the Powwow Committee, leadership and the community of Piapot First Nation, we would like to thank you for your continued support in helping to make this event possible every year.

We look forward to the 2021 Piapot Traditional Powwow next summer.

The chosen committee will continue their fundraising efforts as soon as it is safe and reasonable to do so.
