1. Must be physically able to perform the duties required by the position.

  6. Prior cook experience desired.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Promote and prepare nutritious noon lunches five day per week.
  2. Purchase all food, services and equipment for the hot lunch program.
  3. Responsible for the menu planning and distribution of commodities.
  4. Prepare and serve food to all students.
  5. Keep Kitchen area clean.
  6. Take part in regular kitchen/lunch area cleaning.
  7. Display a cheerful attitude toward students, staff, and visitors.

Professional Growth:

  1. Promote professional growth of the staff by maintaining own program of professional growth.
  2. Participate in conferences, professional meetings, etc.
  3. Keep informed about current administrative, instructional, and organizational trends in the area of responsibility.

Organizational and Administration:

  1. Be directly responsible to the Principal of Chief Payepot School.

Terms of Employment:   

  1. Employment is on yearly Contract.


  1. By the Principal of the school and Environmental Health Inspector.
