Piapot First Nation invites applications for a full-time position for Office Administrator.  Reporting to the Band Administrator, the successful candidate will possess a certificate in Office Education; have excellent computer skills and ability to work well under pressure.   

Responsibilities

  • Open and sort incoming and outgoing mail and record electronically
  • Maintain and update filing, database system either manually or using a computer
  • Monitor supplies and services
  • Make sure office machines such as photocopier and scanners are working properly
  • Provide administrative services when requested by other departments

Minimum Qualifications

  • Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license
  • Office Education Certificate
  • Computer Skills:  spreadsheets, word processing, email
  • Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
  • Skills in time management and organization
